BULLYING

A few days ago, a young melbourne girl took her own life because she could no longer take been bullied.
It saddens me that such a young life has been lost, loved ones shattered and future possibilities gone..... Sheniz was a young 15 yr old girl who couldn't see past her tormentors. Today's youngsters don't see that all they have to do is speak up.. Tell your family, your friends or call kids helpline.. There is help out there. Sheniz has gone to heaven so unfortunately this message won't reach her, but for all the young ones been bullied, please don’t waste your life, don't make them more important then you! Cause they are NOT!

Work from Home

To all looking to work from home, be it because you are a single parent, or someone who doesn’t like to commute. Don’t be fooled by all the online scams out there. Most of them are designed to lift your spirits only to crush you along the way.

Be diligent with your search, don’t fall prey to everything you hear, and most importantly, never pay a fee. If you are been asked for a fee, you can bet your bottom dollar it is a SCAM.

Things to look out for;

Emails been sent to you requesting your personal information,

Emails advising you that they got your details via a job search site,

Postal mail sent to you of any nature stating that due to your last name been the same as that of a deceased client etc, Job offers been sent to you via email requesting you to work as an agent on their behalf.

BOGUS CENSUS COLLECTORS

How’s that for doing the right thing? As good citizens we are expected not only to fill out the Census Form, but to hand it over to the Census Collector when they come around to collect them.

The government stipulates that if we do not have the form filled out or delay in doing so, we are fined up to $110.00 for every day we delay at their discretion.

They say we are obligated to do the right thing for our country and as good citizens we all pretty much did as we were told.

What they failed to inform us was that pretty much anyone can pose as a Census Collector. These people are you, me and anyone out there. We are expected to have faith in the system and open our homes to whoever stands between our safety net and the outside world.

Unconditional Love

There is nothing more unconditional than the love a parent feels for their child, or a child for a parent.

We can deal with their smelly little bottoms, and their yucky runny noses. Clean after them after they bring up what they ate yesterday due to them been unwell. Kiss their little lips no matter what they’ve eaten, as they kiss us whether we’ve brushed our teeth or not.

How to maintain your sanity!

Isn’t it amazing how kids are so predictable?

For years I’ve had to control myself when my little boy pushed my buttons. You know, your child does something they shouldn’t do. You tell them to stop!

But they care not what you want, so they repeat it. You tell them to cut it out!

But they have selected hearing and so once again they go about their way.

You start feeling the lava inside you bubbling away slowly, but you try to stay calm.

Kids are like the wind!

They are a constant breath of fresh air, whilst at the same time they can really blow your top off!

They can paste a smile on your face that fills your heart with overwhelming love, and then two seconds later strip it off, leaving you feeling like you could be the next BIG thing on the news due to the actions you’d like to take to put a stop to their constant nagging, knowing full well you’d never do any such thing......
